Is there really a heaven and a hell?
Jesus speaks about it and the scriptures describe it in a number of places. It simply cannot be ignored, discounted or disregarded--who are we to do that? The good news is that Jesus offers a wonderful alternative to this problem, and it is offered to whosoever will. I think that's why it's called the good news!
And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal. (Matthew 25:46)
